With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Thomas Roy Decker on Feb. 8, 2024 at his home in Page, Az., while surrounded by his family. Thomas Roy Decker was born on Sept.26, 1954 in Lancaster, Ca., with a brief stay in Kanab, Utah, and moved to Page, Az., in 1958, where he attended school at the Page Unified School district and graduated with the class of 1972 from Page High School. A year after graduating, he obtained employment at Salt River Project Navajo Generating Station, where he worked from 1973 to Sept. 2013, retiring from his position as
a maintenance supervisor. Tom enjoyed golfing, fishing, and reading in his spare time. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Nona Louise Decker (Kershaw), children Rochelle Ann Perez (Sergio Perez), Brent Thomas Decker (Brandi Decker) and Tyson Rick Decker (Krissy Decker), granddaughters Destiny Bennett, Cera Decker and Rylee Perez, brothers Gean Decker (Lori), Bruce Decker (Lisa), Jim Decker (Deann), Alan Decker (Debbie) and Glen Decker (Mylene), and sisters Dorene Gallier (Glen), Diane Maddux (Hank) and Rosie Hutchins. He was preceded in death by father Willard Decker and mother Minnie Decker. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints ,313 S. Lake Powell Blvd. Viewing is at 12 pm, and services start at 12:30 p.m., with a graveside service to follow at the City of Page Cemetery and lunch to follow at 313 S. Lake Powell Blvd.
