Harry L. Decker, age 82, died Jan. 14, 2024, in his home in Big Water, Utah. Harry was born June 15, 1941, in Paonia, Colorado. Survivors include brother Thomas Decker and sister Dee Gilmore. Harry was preceded in death by his wife Constance Decker. Harry grew up in the Denver area, graduated from Westminster High School and attended a year at Colorado State University. He served in the Army, traveling with the military jazz band. He was an accomplished accordion and keyboard musician and loved performing in clubs and other social settings. Harry attended several trade schools, which prepared him to work more than 60 years as a professional musician, hotel operations engineer, and small-business owner in trucking, maintenance and janitorial services.
