Peggy Lou Dixon passed away peacefully on Oct. 10, 2023.
Peggy was born in Booker, Texas, to Leonard and Gladys Morris on Oct. 29, 1929.
She married William T. Dixon Jr. in Amarillo, Texas, in July of 1953.
Peggy had two sons, Mark (Marsha) Dixon and Randall Dixon, and one stepson, Michael Dixon. Her husband and three sons preceded her in death. She had one granddaughter, Dana Service, and one great-grandson, Alex Service.
Peggy met and married Bill in Texas and moved to Boulder, Colorado, in 1955. During her time in Colorado, she worked at Napa Auto as a bookkeeper, and she was a real-estate broker.
Bill and Peggy moved to Page in 2004 to be closer to her son Mark and his family.
Peggy had a nephew Lynn (Linda) from Wyoming and a niece Leigh (Curly) from Missouri whom she was especially close to, as well as numerous other great nieces and great nephews.
She was active in her community. She attended Page Community United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Mary & Martha Society ladies group, as well as the Beta Mu Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority.
She loved playing bridge every week and had many friends in her community.
A Memorial Service will be held on Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. at Page Community United Methodist Church.
