On Sept. 28, ‘B’ shift responded to the airport for a report of an aircraft that had landed without landing gear. The aircraft was able to land safely and had no injuries on board. The aircraft was then removed from the runway without incident. The cause is under investigation.

On Sept.27, ‘B’ shift responded to an RV fire on Highway 89, just outside Page. On arrival crews were faced with a fully involved RV that had spread to some brush around the area. Crews initiated fire attack and were able to control and extinguish the fire. No injuries were involved. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Over the past few weeks PFD crews have run on multiple snake calls, including rattlesnakes within the city limits. Be safe and be aware and if you see or hear a rattlesnake you can contact our dispatch and Page Fire Department will respond, catch and release the snake in a safe area.
