The Arizona Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ALEAP) awarded the Page Police Department three separate accreditations for its Law Enforcement, Communications, and Property & Evidence operations. Receiving even one accreditation is a great accomplishment because agencies must demonstrate the ability to adhere to nationally recognized standards and best practices, while continuously improving and adapting to the needs of modern policing.
Chief Tim Lange said, "Everything our department accomplishes is the result of all the hard work put in by our employees. If we didn't have the dedicated staff that we have, these accomplishments would not be possible. Meeting the standards required to obtain even one accreditation is such a great accomplishment, but to be awarded all three accreditations at the same time speaks to the quality of our staff. I got emotional when I learned Page PD is the first law enforcement agency in the State of Arizona to be awarded all three accreditations at the same time. It's simply amazing and speaks to the work ethic of our entire staff. I am so proud to be the Chief of Police and honored that I get to work with all of these quality individuals. It's truly a blessing. Thank you!”
