Robert “Linc” Bichard, 78, of Kearns, Utah, died Feb. 26, 2017. He was born March 13, 1938, to Gene Thurman and Alice Kidd Bichard.
He graduated from Adrian High School in 1956 and attended the University of Michigan for two years.
Robert was married to Teresa Bichard. He was a construction engineer for 53 years before retiring in 2009.
Linc was a member of the Kearns, Utah, community for 22 years after moving there from Las Vegas. He was a proud veteran. He was a charter member of the Page Elks Lodge and was also a city council member, part of the Dam Square Dancing Club, men’s bowling association and a DJ for the Golden Oldies radio show at KPGE.
Robert is survived by his wife, Teresa Bichard; his children, Rebecca Kidd (Bichard), Debra Hatfield (Bichard), Clinton Bichard and Robert Bichard Jr.; his grandchildren, Joshua Kidd, Nicole Hatfield, Cody Hatfield, Suziann Bichard, Christina Bichard-Clark, Brendon Bichard and Chrystan Carnahan; and his siblings, Lyn Wilson (Bichard), Edward Bichard and Diane Marlatt (Bichard).
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents; his brothers, William Bichard and Richard Bichard; and his daughter, Melanie Carnahan.
His family will be at the City Park on Friday, June 23, at noon. They will be leaving to Lone Rock Beach at 12:30 p.m. They would love to have any and all of Linc’s friends accompany them to the beach for a celebration of life.
