Lake Powell became the speed boat capital of Arizona last weekend as racers from across the region came to the lake to put on a display of speed while also raising money to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. Hosted by Antelope Point Marina, the racers took part in three days of activities, highlighted by the high-speed antics on the lake. The Lake Powell Challenge is in its ninth year and included races, a kids fun run and music and entertainment.
