FLAGSTAFF – The Page/Lake Powell, Tuba City and Williams Community Grant Cycle opens on Wednesday, March 6. Nonprofits serving those communities are invited to apply for funding. To prepare organizations with the knowledge and resources they need to submit successful applications, the Arizona Community Foundation of Flagstaff will host two free grant application workshops prior to the cycle opening.

Attendance is strongly encouraged at whichever workshop works best for your schedule. Register online at acf.cventevents.com/nazgrants2024. The first workshop took place on Wednesday, Feb. 14, from noon to 1:30 p.m. and the second one will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 27, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Both will be hosted virtually via Zoom.

The workshop will equip applicants with insight to prepare for the competitive grant cycle. Topics to be discussed include an overview of ACF’s online grants portal, grant guidelines, review of the new application, and elements of an effective application. Representatives from nonprofits, public schools, municipalities, and tribal entities are encouraged to attend. Organizations' programs must serve residents of Tuba City, Williams, Page and/or Lake Powell.

To apply for funding, visit the ACF website on March 6 at azfoundation.org/grants. For more information on the workshops or the grant application, contact ACF Regional Philanthropic Advisor / Acting Regional Manager Gwen Groth at ggroth@azfoundation.org or call 928-526-1956.

With five regional offices serving communities across Arizona, ACF is among the top 25 community foundations in the nation with more than $1.3 billion in trust and endowment assets and is certified under the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations. Since inception, ACF has awarded more than $1.3 billion in grants, scholarships, and loans to nonprofit organizations, schools, tribal entities, and government agencies.
