Carolyn Elizabeth Bunch of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, passed away on Aug. 26, 2020, in Mt. Pleasant. She was born on March 31, 1953 in Harvey, Illinois, to Robert Leon and Mary Elizabeth (Diamond) Steffen.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and very involved in the church activities, including teaching Awana, a discipleship club, for many years. She was the past president of the Southwest Conservative Baptist Women’s Association and she was also a foster parent.
She is survived by her loving husband Darrell Bunch; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Joseph and Julie Bunch; daughter and son-in-la, Steffenie Mary Rawlings and Anthony Lane Rawlings; grandchildren Arianna Allen, Kailan, Joseph and Cecelia Bunch, Brandon, Caroline, Maria, Caleb, McKenna, Elianna and Elliott Rawlings; brothers, Robert and James Steffen.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 31, 2020 at the First Baptist Church with services to follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be held in the Nevills Chapel Cemetery.
