PAGE – Taylor Yazzie and Sherrie Yellowman graduated from the Western Arizona Law Enforcement Training Academy in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
The Page Police Department announced this afternoon both Yazzie and Yellowman completed WALETA’s dispatch academy, which introduces the necessary skills and knowledge to work in a public safety communications center in a productive and professional manner.
The dispatch academy is a three-week, 120-hour course that covers numerous topics, including professional orientation and ethics, community policing, among several others.
Page Police Lt. Larry Jones congratulated the new public safety dispatchers.
