Letter: The city got this one wrong
Alienated Aero residents
Posted
Richard and Dottie Apalategui
We don’t believe it.
The city has once more found reasons to put off fixing Aero Avenue.
The residents that live on Aero (not all, but most) have been working to clean up their properties and the reward for their efforts is — no repairs for two more years.
The city will continue to send most of the school buses, tour buses and heavy equipment back and forth on a street that kicks up gravel into our yards and exhaust into our homes.
There are other wide or small streets with the ability to handle this traffic.
“A lasting impression for our children and the tourists to take with them to their homes and countries.”
