Is now taking applications for seasonal work for the period of 05/15/2019 thru 11/15/2019 the number of temporary positions for farm workers is 10.  This job requires a minimum 3 months of prior experience working in apple, peach or cherry orchards, handling both manual and machine tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities.  Pruning of trees using hand pruners, climbing up and down and carrying up to a 12 foot ladder, pruning of trees using pneumatics consisting of an 8 foot pole while dragging an airline. Stacking tree limbs, planting trees, shoveling soil, applying fertilizer, picking up rocks, pulling weeds, irrigation, thinning fruit from a ladder, harvesting tart cherries, peaches, apples, picking fruit per instructions of supervisor, carrying a picking bucket while full of fruit for up to a 8 hour day. Following training/rules of Good Agricultural Procedures (GAP) requirements (e.g. advising supervisor of bleeding cuts, open wounds, sores, illness and following rules of hygiene practices etc.). Driving harvesting equipment, must be able to work in hot, dry, dusty, noisy, cold, wet, snowy conditions, must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., be able to follow instructions of job requirements, have ability to problem solve. Workers will be required to keep all property and housing clean.

Work will be from 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday thru Friday. The salary is $13.13 per hour the employer guarantees that ¾ of the employment term will be paid.
