Thursday morning at 8:22 a.m. the Page Fire Dept. and Page Police Dept. responded to a fire inside Chapmans Mobile Home Park, at 801 Oak St.

Upon arrival fire crews found smoke and flames coming from the back corner of a double wide trailer. Page Police had arrived earlier and had already secured the area and reported to fire crews that all occupants were out of the house. Police officers maintained a safety perimeter for the fire dept. throughout the operation.

Fire crews used a 150-foot attack line and entered the house’s front door and began extinguishing the fire, which was attic space. Fire crews had the fire extinguished by 8:50 a.m., after which they began an overhaul of the house, and salvage efforts were made for the family’s belongings.

One patient was transported to Page Hospital and treated for smoke inhalation.

Page Fire Dept. Units Engine 10, Medic 10 and Command-F1 responded to the fire.
