Check on the Elderly
We are seeking elderly individuals who live within the City of Page who are interested in signing up for the Serving Our Seniors (SOS) program.
This first began April 1, 2004, and was modeled after a program originally started by the Wolfeboro Police Department in New Hampshire after three elderly individuals passed away alone in their residences over a two-month period. They decided to have their elderly residents who were living alone check in with the police department every morning.
The purpose of the program is to make sure that all elderly people who live alone have someone to contact daily to make sure that all is well. The Page Police Department is concerned for the welfare of our elderly community and are here to provide assistance through our “SOS – Serving Our Seniors” program.
If you or someone you know may be interested in signing up for this program, please request an application by coming into our lobby, emailing records@pageaz.gov, or dialing (928)-645-4106 if you would like further information.
Please note, this program is only available for individuals who live within our jurisdiction in the City of Page.
