Park stabbing

On July 2, 2024 Page Police Officers were dispatched to John C. Page Memorial Park to investigate a reported stabbing. When officers arrived, they found a person who had been stabbed multiple times. Officers utilized a tourniquet and other techniques to slow the bleeding until Page Fire Department medics arrived. The Investigation revealed Cordell Lister of LeChee and Roseleigh Endischee of Kaibeto stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing in a vehicle. Officers later located the vehicle at State Route 98 and Coppermine Road and arrested Lister and Endischee. A weapon believed to have been used in the assault and approximately 14 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine was found in the vehicle. Both subjects were booked into the Coconino County Jail for aggravated assault, possession of narcotic drugs and other related charges. This case is still under investigation and all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Page PD steps up for July 4 celebrations

Almost every Page Police Department employee worked in some capacity during the City of Page's July 4 celebration. Many of these employees completed their regular duties, then worked extra hours in other capacities so the festivities would be safe for all citizens and visitors.

"Our employees have really stepped it up the entire week,” said Chief Tim Lange. “They have had to address regular calls for service, some of which were life-threatening events. Many of them then worked additional hours during their off-duty time so the parade, the concerts, the fireworks, and other events could be adequately staffed. Most people really don't know how much work goes into all these events by police, fire, and other city employees. I am proud to know and work with these great individuals. They are dedicated, special people."
