Michelle Aulger, age 76, passed away Friday, Oct. 4, 2024 in her beloved hometown of Kanab, Utah. She was born on Feb. 26, 1948 in Cedar City, Utah to Floyd and Enid Supernaw. Michelle was the second of three children. Michelle lived in Kanab, primarily during her school age years, where she proudly graduated as a Kanab Cowboy in 1966.

While living in Page, Arizona she met and fell in love with James Ellis Fowler, whom she married Oct. 24, 1970 and helped raise his two daughters Elizabeth and Lisa Fowler. On Sept. 11, 1972 they were blessed with their daughter Kimberly Sue Fowler. They divorced in 1977. Michelle's life consisted of traveling, where her journeys took her to marry Rowley Lewis. They moved to Whittier, Alaska, where they lived for many years before they divorced. She moved back to Arizona where she married Ronnie Aulger and moved to Littleton, Colorado.

Michelle's last 30 years were spent in Kanab, until our Father in Heaven called her home.  Michelle's hobbies included camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, picnicking, and enjoying the beauty of Lake Powell. Michelle was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, and spending time with her relatives as well as being proud of her Johnson family heritage.

Michelle is survived by her daughter Kimberly Sue Hart, two granddaughters, Sydney Hart and Nicole Hart, and her sister Susan Evans (Ron Evans). She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Enid Supernaw, brother Allan Supernaw and two spouses.

Our family wishes to thank the entire staff at Dixie Memorial Hospital, Kane County Hospital and the Care Center, as well as Zion's Way personnel and Meals on Wheels. Deep gratitude is also given to her dear friends, family and church members who assisted her over the last many years. A public viewing was held Friday, October 11 at the Kanab Creek Ward LDS church house, 1435 S McAllister Dr., Kanab, UT. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 12 at the same location. Interment was at the Kanab City Cemetery.

Our deepest and most sincere appreciation to Mosdell Mortuary for their compassion, kindness and helpfulness in making the arrangements.
