Shame on you!
Our democracy thrives on our ability to vote. The latest election in Page confirms that the majority of registered voters and even eligible residents, that don’t bother to register, couldn’t care less about their right to have a say in our city government and democracy. Remember, if you don’t vote you do not have the right to complain.
I encourage each and every one of you in the future to research the issues and candidates running for office and then VOTE. The excuse of “my vote doesn’t count” is a cop out. In my lifetime I have voted in many state and local elections that were won and lost by a very slim margin.
In November, please have the courtesy to vote for your candidates who have expended a great deal of time and money to win your vote.
