It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Andrew Paul "Andy" Tappan, born to Edward and Margaret Tappan November 17, 1955, in Tucson, Arizona. Andy passed away on December 13, 2024 in St. George, Utah.

Andy was a kind soul with a deep love for the outdoors. He found joy in boating, fishing, camping and turkey hunting in the Kaibab National Forest. He loved animals and had a knack for always finding the good in people. Andy graduated from Saguaro High School class of 1974. His passion for electronics and gadgets led him to own and operate a Radio Shack store in Page, Arizona, where he moved in 1980. But his love for electronics was life long.  Andy also worked for the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) from 1980 to 1986, where he formed lifelong friendships that he cherished deeply. Known for his iconic laugh and gift for storytelling, Andy brought warmth and humor to those around him. He delighted in sharing tales of good times and adventures, leaving lasting memories with all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Andy was a proud father and grandfather.

He is survived by his brothers Larry Tappan and Fred Tappan, son Scott Tappan and his wife Rebecca Juarez, and his beloved grandchildren, Kaylob Tappan and Saydee Tappan. May Andy's memory bring comfort to those who knew him and loved him.
