The Page Police Department announced Wednesday it had arrested two juveniles in connection to a string of vehicle burglaries in the Page area.
The two youths have been charged with multiple counts of theft, burglary, illegal consumption of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia and were booked at the juvenile jail and are currently held by juvenile probation based on the charges.
Investigators said physical evidence collected at one crime scene was “instrumental in tying both suspects to multiple vehicle burglaries throughout the city.” According to a press release provided by police, the suspects had stolen upwards of $4,000 worth of merchandise and items from the vehicles. The burglaries occurred over a short period of time between Aug. 9 and 10.
Investigators said multiple vehicles had been targeted at varying locations throughout the city. They also believe the suspects have committed other burglaries that remain unreported.
The department asks that you contact Det. Cody Miller at 928-645-4374 if you suspect that you have been a victim of this crime spree.
