Robert M. Kempen passed away Feb. 24, 2017, in Page. He was born Feb. 18, 1939, in Green Bay, Wisc., the son of the late Henry and Leona (Heiting) Kempen of Hilbert, Wisc.
He was a graduate of Brillion High School, class of 1957. He married Phyllis Probst at St. John, Wisc. Later, they divorced. They became parents of:
The late David of Page (8-25-63 to 3-3-17);
Connie (David) Cady of Danville, Calif. and children, Ryan and Erin;
Wesley (Michelle) Kempen of Brillion, Wisc. and children, Isaiah, Alana, Isabell and Alyssa;
Stanley (Renee) Kempen of Brillion, Wisc. and children, Zachary, Alexxes, Mithcel and Sawyer; and
Lisa (Joseph) Kocourek of Brillion, Wisc. and children, Garrett and Evan.
After over a decade of farming in Wisconsin, due to health reasons, Bob moved to Northern Arizona, where he owned and operated Bob’s Repair and Transport with son, David, and other employees. In his life, Bob was a stock-car driver and enjoyed water skiing and snowmobiling.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Melvin and Kenneth.
A private future funeral service is planned in Wisconsin.
