No registration or library card is required. Any child from anywhere qualifies. Children or parents may pick up the meals.
Page Library manager Debbie Winlock said Catholic Charities delivers food supplies once a month. On average, the library staff and volunteers give 75 meals a day.
Winlock said, "On normal days, we were doing anywhere from 75 to 125 meals a day. Since school started, it's kind of slowed down, and we've done maybe 50 a day. We're hoping to pick up. We're prepared to give out 75 meals per day."
Winlock said people could also call the library between 10 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. to request meals at different times of the day.
