On May 12, 2023, John Casey Lewis of Flagstaff, Arizona, passed away at the age of 64. John was born on December 29,1958, in Yuma, Arizona, to John and Florence Lewis. Casey was the youngest of seven.
Casey will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lisa Lewis; sons Charles, Timothy and Mike; daughter Nicole; grandchildren Gilbert, Sophia, Avery and Sedona; brothers Mike, Geoff and Patrick; sisters Maggie and Mary; and many nieces, nephews and friends far and near. Casey was predeceased by his parents John and Florence; brother James; and best friends Dana Wren, Bob Moore and James “Pat” Lauzon.
Casey’s best years were spent in Page, Arizona, and at Grand Canyon, Arizona, for many years, where most of the greatest memories of his life were made. Casey resided and lived in Flagstaff for the last 13 years, living happily while being a successful business owner of Ponderosa Pawn and Trading Co.
Casey enjoyed hunting, shooting, playing cards and drinking a cold one! He also loved spending late nights up with family and friends, talking on the phone to his siblings, watching Maverick 24/7 and most all his cars and motorcycles. Casey loved every minute of everyday life and was always so grateful for everything in his life. Casey enjoyed spoiling everyone around him in every way he could. Casey was an honorable person who loved to spread joy and happiness wherever he went. Casey will be very missed for his stories, laughs and jokes. In the words of Casey, “Let’s blow this Popsicle Stand.”
To honor Casey’s memory, we are holding a celebration of life on June 3, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. at Gone West Family Restaurant, 679 S. Lake Powell Blvd., Page, AZ 86040. As per Casey’s request, no funeral or graveside service will be held.
