On Tuesday, April 3, 2018 Jimmie Rudy Fornero, 69, loving husband and father of eight children passed away peacefully in his home in Eagar, Ariz.
He was born July 5, 1948 in Fullerton, Calif. to James and Lois Fornero. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and worked as a boilermaker for 20 years. He also worked for the Bureau of Reclamation at John Day Dam in Dalles, OR and Glen Canyon Dam in Page, Ariz. On February 14, 1997 he married Diann Elizabeth Boston. “Rudy,” as he liked to be called, had a passion for restoring cars. He restored two AMC Gremlins and was halfway through the third one when he could no longer continue. He loved `50s and `60s music, and loved to watch NASCAR, baseball, This Old House, and the New Yankee Workshop. He was very supportive, honest, and would always tell you like it was.

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Diann, and his eight children, Daniel Dodds, Joey Dodds, Sarah (Daniel) Crespin of Rocky Ford, Colo., Yael (Bryan) Younger of Glendale, Ariz., Samuel Fornero, Cynthia (Stephen) Askew of Flagstaff, Ariz., Michael (Sarah) Meacham of Eagar, Ariz., and Donald Meacham of Lafayette, LA and thirteen grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held in Page on April 21
