Jack W. Marley, Jr., 70, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at his home in Kingman.  Born November 20, 1947 to the late Jack W. Marley, Sr. and the late Almeta Smith of Gilbert, Ariz.  He attended Mesa High School from where he graduated in 1965.  Right after graduation, Jack started working for Salt River Project in Mesa. 

He transferred to the Navajo Generating Station in Page, Ariz., where he worked until he retired in 2010.  After retiring he moved to Kingman with his wife, Janie (Hopkins) Marley. Together they enjoyed time spent with family during holidays and birthdays.  They also spent time ‘touring’ the scenery around Kingman. The highlight of their year was the annual Hopkins family reunion held in the Hualapai Mountains.


Jack was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Janine Kelly, and granddaughter, Taylor Kelly.  In addition to his wife, Janie, Jack “Pops” is survived by his sons, Jack and Jason (Penny), and daughters, Brenda, Bridget (John), Becky (Bill), Berta (Adam), and Betty Jo (Jeff), 22 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.  A celebration of life was held, Saturday, June 23, 2018, 11:00 am, at Praise Chapel.
