Frank L. Hall was born to Lloyd George Hall and Emily Hortense Vuagniaux on January 13, 1939, in a cabin on Lake Manawa in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He enlisted in the National Guard at the age of 18 and was part of the group of soldiers who assisted flood victims in Kansas in the late 1950s.

He married Dorothy Jean Sutton in 1957 and had a son and daughter from that union. In 1965, he married Sylvia Straub Craft and together raised his two children and her three girls from her previous marriage. They then took in two of Sylvia’s nephews to raise and then had a daughter and son of their own.

Frank was by no means a perfect person and made some bad choices he truly regretted making. He was, however, a hardworking man with a great sense of humor and was a good provider for their large family.

Frank loved the outdoors: hunting, camping, fishing and boating on Lake Powell with family and friends. In his younger days, he enjoyed hiking and photography. And he loved God and his family.

The family moved to Page, Arizona, in 1972, where he was employed by Bechtel Construction Co. He then worked as a coordinator between M.M. Sundt and Salt River Project during the transition from construction of the Navajo Generating Station to a working power plant. In 1976, he began working as a carpenter/mechanic for SRP. Some of his first jobs were building scaffolds. He loved the challenges it often presented. Later in his career, he taught a scaffold-building school to SRP employees.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his oldest son Frank Joseph (Joe) Hall, an infant daughter Paula, a granddaughter Jacqueline Rae (Jacque) Owens/Harris Crow; a nephew Carl Leslie (Hall) Ragnoli, Margaret Mary (Midge) Harwood; siblings Lloyd George (Jody) Hall Jr., Clifford Sutton, Jean Louise Sutton, Marsha Hall and his baby sister Melissa (Missy) Larchick/John.

Frank leaves behind his beloved wife Sylvia, the three daughters which he adopted, Irene/Noble Harris, Jennifer Hall and Tracy (Eric) Boehme, as well as Angelo Frank (Hall) Ragnoli, Dana (Tim) Bennett and son James Lloyd (Stacie) Hall. Sadly, Stacie passed away two days later on December 7.

He is also survived by siblings Paula Jane (Marty) Adame, Sam (Lydia) Sutton, Joan (Steven) Rossie and Kathe (Rick) Szymanski, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Frank also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on June 28, 2022. The time and location will be given at a later date closer to the event.
