The Sand Devils are now 7-1 after another impressive win over the Ganado Hornets last Friday night. They are 3-0 in their section.
They easily conquered the Hornets 56-6. The Sand Devils defense has allowed only one touchdown in the last three games.
Robert Smith was three for five passing for 70 yards and two touchdowns. He also had four carries for 124 yards and another touchdown.
Kele Meredith had eight carries for 153 yards and two touchdowns. Hayden Gracia had five carries for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Dillion Anderson had six carries for 45 yards.
The Sand Devils passing attack was also successful. Justin Salabiye had one reception for 11 yards. Makaio Warner had one reception for 29 yards and a touchdown, and Brandonn James had one reception for 30 yards and a touchdown.
The Sand Devils return to the road this Friday where they’ll meet the 4-4 Chinle Wildcats.
The return home the following week for the last regular season game, which is also senior night, on Oct. 26.
