Emodele “Dele” H. Fischer, 86, of Page, Arizona, passed away on October 31, 2022. She was born in Prescott, Arizona, on October 29, 1936, to Joseph and Martha Jane Bunch. Dele graduated from Phoenix Union High School and was married to Gary C. Fischer on October 1, 1954, in Tempe, Arizona. They were blessed with four wonderful children and a life full of family and friends living in Superior, Prescott, Chandler and Page, Arizona.
Later in life she attended Mesa Community College and received her associate degree as a legal secretary – she loved her work and retired in 2003. Upon retirement, she and Gary moved to Page, where they enjoyed small town life together.
Dele had a true passion for Christ and was always sharing her faith as a Sunday school teacher, song leader for Awana and choir member – she also served on numerous committees, and in her older years became an armchair prayer warrior for anyone who had a need.
She lovingly spent her life surrounded by her children Cathy Gomez (Tony), Carolyn, Charles and Carl Fischer (Maria); seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings Brad Bunch (Kim), Darrell Bunch (Carolyn), Genevieve Weiss (Jim) and Phyllis Davis (Jeff); and 10 nieces and nephews.
Dele was preceded in death by her mother Martha Jane Bunch, father Joseph Bunch, her stepmother Cecile Bunch and her loving husband of 60 years, Gary Fischer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Page on December 17, 2022, at 10 a.m.
