Jim Moss, who is a community activist in Globe, as well as an entrepreneur and former educator, announced his candidacy for the 2018 Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate. To kick-off his campaign, the native Arizonan participated in the Democratic Candidate Forum in Payson last week.
“I am offering the citizens of Arizona the opportunity to elect a U.S. Senator that is 100-percent powered by the people,” Moss said. “I will not accept one dime from corporate PACs or from wealthy donors representing a corporate special interest agenda. Not one dime!”
“Arizona needs a bold, progressive voice in the United States Senate, and a leader who will always put country over party,” he added.
