Congressman Tom O’Halleran requested to be a co-sponsor of the bipartisan DREAM Act, a proposed bill that protects DREAMers who pursue higher education, work for three years or serve in the military from deportation and offers a path to citizenship.
“Congress must act to give young DREAMers stability and allow them to continue living legally in the only nation they have ever known,” said O’Halleran. “The abrupt decision by President Trump to end DACA has placed thousands of Arizona families and employers in limbo.
