The city of Page announced the appointment of their new city manager today.
Michael Celaya will report to the city of Page on July 23.
Celaya has 21 years-experience working in city government and social services, much of which was spent as a grant writer and manager.
Celaya has been the town manager for Gila Bend since April 2016 where he played an instrumental role with the towns’ revitalization and development projects, while managing the town’s daily operations. One of his big areas of focus was re-establishing the town’s desirability with the tourism and business sectors.
The Chronicle will have a much more detailed story about Mr. Celaya in this Wednesday’s newspaper.
