The Shop with a Cop and Fireman 5K Run and 3K Walk was held in Page on Nov. 19, starting and ending at John C. Page Memorial Park. Proceeds from the entry fees and bake sale benefitted the Shop with a Cop program. Around 20 people participated, and first finisher was Page City Attorney Josh Smith in a time of “22-something.” The event was sponsored by Page Police Department, Page, Fire Department, Coconino County Sheriff’s Office, National Park Service, Department of Public Safety, Navajo Police Department, Greenehaven Fire Department and Big Water Fire Department. Shop with a Cop and Fireman will be held on Dec. 10 at the Public Safety Building at 808 Coppermine Road in Page.
